چکیده
The primary objective of the study of unidentified EGRET sources with INTEGRAL is to locate with a few arcminute accuracy the hard X-ray / soft γ-ray counterparts within the EGRET error circle or to determine upper limits on their emission in the INTEGRAL energy range. The INTEGRAL Galactic Plane Scan (GPS) and Galactic Centre Deep Exposure (GCDE) data have been analysed and cross–correlated with the EGRET 3 rd Catalogue to search for counterparts of EGRET sources. The IBIS detection of a source within the EGRET error circle of 3EG J1736 − 2908 is presented and its possible identification with the active galaxy GRS 1734 − 292 is discussed. Finally, preliminary results on the cross-correlation between EGRET unidentified sources and the first data from the IBIS survey of the Galactic Centre are presented.

We present new population synthesis calculations of close young neutron stars. In comparison with our previous investigation we use a different neutron star mass spectrum and different initial spatial and velocity distributions. The results confirm that most of ROSAT dim radioquiet isolated neutron stars had their origin in the Gould Belt. Several tens of young neutron stars can be identified i...

The INTEGRAL Burst Alert System (IBAS) is the software for real time detection of Gamma Ray Bursts (GRBs) and the rapid distribution of their coordinates. IBAS has been running almost continuously at the INTEGRAL Science Data Center since the beginning of the INTEGRAL mission, yielding up to now accurate localizations for 12 GRBs detected in the IBIS field of view. IBAS is able to provide error...

Modelisations of galactic 1.275 MeV emission produced by the decay 22 Na have been performed for several frequency-spatial distributions of ONe novae. Recent results of nova rates and their distributions in our Galaxy have been used. These modelisations allow to estimate the lower-limit of the 22 Na mass ejected per ONe novae detectable with the future spectrometer (SPI) of the INTEGRAL observa...

The five-minute oscillations in the Sun have provided a wealth of information about the solar interior. After many attempts, positive detections of similar oscillations in solar-type stars have now been made. This review discusses the properties of solar-like oscillations, the methods used to observe them and the results on individual stars. We conclude that the study of solar-like oscillations...
